The Group Tobia and Sarah of the parish of Saints Peter and Paul leads the Pastoral Care of the Family of our parish. The life of Tobiah and Sarah inspires our group in its actions and teachings.
Our mission is to accompany couples in their spiritual and human growth. The model of these couples, of these families is the Holy Family of Nazareth: Joseph, Mary and Jesus.
How do we do it? We do it through formation and this in a constant and continuous manner. As the Magisterium of the Popes, of the Church and of our Bishops of the United States of America teach us, the question of the family is important, fundamental and vital for our parish community. The family is important both for civil society and for the Church.
We accompany couples and families through retreats, integral formation (considering all the dimensions of marriage and family), moments of adoration (personal encounter with Jesus), moments of prayer (liturgy of the hours, Lectio Divina), service to the community, encouragement to those who only have civil marriage to receive the sacrament of marriage, moments accompaniment of the divorced and the divorced remarried.
We are attentive to the lives of those who have not married, but who are an integral part of our great family of Saints Peter and Paul.
